	Release agents Substances, usually based on organic fats or oils or on silicones, whichare introduced into a mould (in metal or polymer injection moulding) toprovide optimal release of the product from the mould. Plasma treatmentallows the removal of release agents like oils or silicones from thesurface, in particular in cases when they disturb following productionsteps (e. g. coating).
