	Etching of PCBs Important manufacturing step in electric and microelectronic industry.The areas designed to remain as conductive strips of a conductor orsemiconductor layer covering the entire board are covered by a mask, andthe free areas are removed by etching. The etching processes can beaccomplished by wet etching or by plasma.
