	Contact angle The angle between the surface of a liquid phase on a solid phase and thesolid’s surface. Used as measure for the interaction of the liquid withthe solid: the higher the contact angle, the smaller is the interaction.When the solid’s surface energy is larger than the liquid’s surfaceenergy, the contact angle becomes zero.
